Would you be willing to offer your home for short-term foster care (one to two months) of cats or dogs to assist a local animal shelter?

Since some of you have inquired about Moses "The Great One," here are two recent pix of my 13-year-old best friend.

Out on a hike, heading into the North Woods to track deer and look for Cooper Hawk feathers. Of all the technology at my disposal, nothing comes close to helping me truly understand what's going on at my feet than what this feline senses at every turn through a deep, natural attachment to the earth. I struggle to understand.

Things 1 thru 7

So far, so lovely. I just left www.flickr.com and must report that I am impressed with not only the existence of such a tool, but the ease of use I experienced while exploring the service. I easily can foresee how flickr can be (is) a very useful tool for sharing information. This is also the case with the Flickr mashups and 3rd party sites. I particularly enjoyed developing a Trip Plan via Yahoo Travel's Trip Planner http://travel.yahoo.com. Of course, I mapped-out an exploratory expedition to New Zealand, a probable destination for an American expatriate should things not improve here in the USA. After discovering that I could read the entire trip plans posted by others, I was happy to see that one can copy said plans and adjust them to meet one's own goals. I found many trip plans to New Zealand, and discovered some key points of interest to visit. There are many, many photos to whet the appetitie. Now, if I can only find enough loose change under my bed to pay for the trip. Please don't ask me why there's loose change under my bed. Now, on to Thing 8 and beyond...

The Atheist with two of his foster children, Gilligan and Mary Ann. Photo taken at the base of Bjorn's tree. Other felines to pass through my home include Taylor, Nova, Cornelius, and Zira. These members of the "Planet of the Kitties" cast will be featured soon...

I'm here. Can anybody find me?
